Indian Diabetes and Cardio Metabolic Diseases Association, also known in short as IDCM having its Registered office at Vadodara.
The Aims and Objectives of Indian Diabetes and Cardio Metabolic
Diseases Association shall be as follows:
To encourage and advance the knowledge, study, and practice of the science of medicine in all ways and to provide continuing education and non-formal education regarding medicinal science and human health science-related subjects
To encourage research, including experimental work, in the science of medicine.
To organize, establish, co-ordinate and conduct, along with academic bodies/ institutions/individuals directly or indirectly, the study and research in problems relating to the science of medicine.
To hold public meetings, shows, organize conferences, academic seminars, exhibitions, study circles, or conventions for the study and discussion of problems relating to and allied with the science of medicine for medical doctors and research scholars.
To provide instruction and education to deserving persons in the science of medicine.
To approve grants by way of scholarships, donations, subscriptions, allowances, gratuities, guarantees, and otherwise to and for the benefit of deserving students, scholars, and other persons who are worthy of receiving such grants by reasons of their skill and proficiency in the science and practice of medicine or their contribution to the cause of promotion of learning, research and practice of the science of medicine.
To award prizes, medals, or other certificates or diplomas of proficiency in the science of medicine to persons found deserving after such tests, examinations, or other forms of scrutiny as may be prescribed from time to time.
To make rules for prescribing standards of professional conduct for members of the Association.
To establish and maintain libraries and reading rooms.
To print, publish, distribute or sell books, pamphlets, notices, pictures, periodicals, newspapers or magazines or any other literature on any matter concerning or relating to the science or practice of medicine or the life or work of eminent persons and also to provide dissemination of scientific knowledge through the publication of books, journals, templates, papers, weekly, etc.
To suggest, study, offer an opinion, and advise on, or take part in, the framing of laws affecting the science of the practice of medicine, medical education, health policies, and health care activities.
To promote esprit de corps among persons studying or practicing the science of medicine and to be a link between them and members of the general public or public authorities to promote health and hygiene awareness.
To co‐operate with other associations or individuals to promote the objects of the Association.
To sponsor Doctors and paramedical personnel for further medical education, local and international academic meets to upgrade their knowledge and enhance their skills which in turn they would disseminate locally in the country through various means of communication.
To carry out all activities related to research, education, academia in the field of medical studies, medical sciences, human health, science and biology, and allied fields, including pharmacology.
To establish, acquire, run, manage institutes and colleges of medical education and hospital management
